Your Visit

From its miles of stunning coastline to its breathtaking countryside and world-class creative and cultural scene, this is a place that inspires and broadens horizons.

Our horizons are vast, particularly out on the Romney Marsh or at Dungeness.  With very little light pollution, it’s a great place for watching the sun go down and then some stargazing.  Seek inspiration from the artists and writers, both of today and yesteryear, who flock here.

If bright lights are your thing, Folkestone has you covered. The Harbour Arm and the Creative Quarter are the places to see and be seen. Galleries galore, quirky independent shops and eateries, sculptures and a regular Art Trail all combine for an unforgettable experience.

Families can go full bucket ’n spade on our glorious sandy beaches, ride the funfair at Dymchurch, see the animals at Port Lympne Reserve, or simply mooch about on the Marsh.

We really do have an extraordinary experience for everyone!
