HITTING THE HIGH NOTES
Music in May kicks off with a grand opening party at Folkestone’s Quarterhouse on Sunday 4th May for what will be an amazing showcase of some of the town’s most talented performers and singers.
Other highlights include Choir”oke at the Grand Burstin Hotel on Sunday 18th May, and the closing party at the Leas Bandstand on Saturday 31st May – this “battle of the bands” competition will see the winners open the Blue Reef Festival in July at Loddington Farm, Kent.
Music Videos in May is a special screening of the winners of a free music video competition in collaboration with Screen South and Seaview Studio.
Fancy having a go yourself? Music in May is running FREE workshops, so whether you’re a complete beginner or want to dust off the old ivories, sign up!
The streets will be alive with the sound of music too, as Music in May buskers provide aural entertainment in Folkestone every Saturday in May.
