BACK TO ITS ROOTS – DOCKER BREWERY RETURNS TO FOLKESTONE
Brewing has always been deeply rooted in Kent and one of the art’s finest examples is the nine-year-old Docker Brewery. Born in a converted shipping container on Folkestone’s Harbour Arm, followed by a move to West Hythe, April 2025 sees Docker move to its new Folkestone home – brewery, taproom and a welcoming space for craft beer aficionados.
Visitors can enjoy the company’s full range of beer on draught from a range of taps alongside tank-fresh beer straight from the brewery’s tanks for the freshest possible pint, along canned options (takeaway or enjoy here!)
Docker Brewery will host tasting events, release its latest creations and provide a new space for the vibrant local craft beer scene.

THE DOCKER STORY
It’s a story of balanced and moreish pale ales, lagers, stouts, low alcohol beers and naturally fermented sodas. The highest quality UK malts, interesting contemporary yeast variants and juicy, vibrant and dank hops from UK and New World locations combine to produce beers which draw on our country’s brewing history, bringing classic styles into the modern age to be reimagined and reinvigorated.
Seasonal natural ferments, such as ginger beer, sparkling elderflower and cherryade are made from the finest fresh, local ingredients, with no additional flavourings or colourings. By cultivating the yeasts which live naturally on the fresh ingredients the result is a wild fermentation process which produces a very mildly alcoholic beverage which is full of naturally occurring flavour.
