PEEK AT A PRIVATE GARDEN

Only open to the public on one day a year, the 13-hectare gardens at Sandling Park are well worth a visit.

Features include a specialist rhododendron collection, a woodland garden, sweeping lawns and specimen conifers, streams and watercourses, a rose garden enclosed by a curving yew hedge planted in 1900, and a walled kitchen garden.
